WEI Dan is Full Professor and Associate Dean of the Faculty of Law at University of Macau. She received Bachelor of Law at Peking University and Master of Law and PhD of Law at the University of Coimbra, Portugal. She served as the Director of the Institute for Advanced Legal Studies and Editor-in-Chief of Macau Law Review. Wei is currently the Rapporteur of Committee of International Protection of Consumers of ILA International Law Association (ILA), board member of International Association of Consumer Law (IACL), Council member of WTO Research Society of China Law Society, Council member of China Association for Consumer Protection Research of China Law Society, , arbitrator of China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC), arbitrator of Arbitration Center of World Trade Center of Macau, invited Expert of the Center for Ascertainment of Foreign Law of the Supreme People’s Court of People’s Republic of China , invited expert-collaborator of Ministry of Justice of Brazil. She is the series editor of Springer “Laws of Emerging Economies” and visiting professor of various universities in mainland China, Portugal and Brazil. She is Director-General of Macau Association for Brazilian Studies. She served as a consultant for the Brazilian government in the WTO ministerial conference in Hong Kong during the Doha Round (2005) and participated in some Brazil-China ministerial level technical negotiations on bilateral trade.
